With over 45 years experience in the design and manufacturing of tamper evident security sealing products, we manufacture in the UK and benefit from over 9,000 business and government customers, exporting tamper evident products to countries across 6 continents. Our clients include law enforcement bodies, airlines, government agencies, security services, logistics and transport businesses worldwide.

Label Lock™ products have been used to secure the safety of events from sporting events, exhibitions, political conferences, national elections and Papal visits to sealing gemstones, cash, examination papers and pharmaceuticals in transit.

Label Lock™ is a product brand and registered trademark of Mercian Labels based in Staffordshire, UK.

Innovation

We conduct significant innovative research to develop new products and technologies in tamper evidence. Our employees include scientists, engineers, printers, coating specialists and software engineers, who work together project specific teams to tackle tamper evident challenges. We combine our own resources with those from our supplier partners to develop innovative products that perform. Innovation is key to our success and we are always looking for new projects and partners to develop new tamper proof products and solutions with.  

In 2014 we became the first and only manufacturer to accredit the manufacture of tamper evident labels and tapes to ISO17712:2013, the global standard for security seals.
